Recently my school has gone into lock down. Everyone is required to stay inside and distance themselves from their family and friends as much as possible to keep people from catching covid-19. Today is the 5th day of the corona virus quarantine, our city is expected to stay in quarantine for at least 4 weeks or more.
For the past 5 days in quarantine, my family has been going on with our day normally at home. We wash our hands more often and keep our hands as far away from our face as possible. Some things I really enjoy about the quarantine are: having more time to spend with my family, being able to do school work at home, and being able to have more time to draw of course! Some things I don't enjoy in quarantine are: not being able to spend time with my friends, being bored, and having art block.
Here is a little picture I drew to remind you all to stay safe and clean through out the corona virus outbreak!

HI Gianna, I love the picture! Did you do this in google drawings? It is great that you are able to spend more time with your family - I am enjoying working form home as well at the moment. I don't have to rush around in the mornings which is great.

Hi Mrs Earl, Thank you for the nice comment about my picture! No I did not draw it using google drawings, I used an app called Ibis Paint on my phone to draw the picture. I can relate! It's easier to do work from home because I don't need to worry about being late anymore. To be honest I wouldn't like to be home schooled all the time because I wouldn't be able to see my all my wonderful teachers and classmates, but it is more comfortable for me to do my work at home. Sometimes school can be tiring but I really enjoy school. Honestly everything seems to be different without it :)

I have never heard of Ibis paint - I might have a look and see what that is like. I am enjoying working form home but I think I would miss everyone at school if this became permanent. When I am at home I enjoy the view out my doors - we look out to lots of green bush. It is very peaceful. It is more comfortable at home.

Hey Gianna, so you are haveing a good time doing school work at home because you get to spend time doing some of the things you love like drawing and spending time with your family, ofcourse there are the downs of doing school work at home. Just keep focusing on the ups and not the downs. I love the drawing you have done, it is really well drawen and has a clear message telling others to stay safe. Great work - Lexus.
