We went on a school trip to the Canterbury Museum. In the museum Anthony told us a story about a Taniwha named Poutini.

After Anthony told us the story we looked at Maori artefacts that the Maori people used back in the days.
Here are some pictures of us in the museum with Anthony:
After looking around, Anthony took us to a room to use and feel what the Maori felt back in the days using the Maori tools.
After that we had some morning tea. We climbed lots of trees and explored a lot.
When we finished morning tea we had some free time to explore in our groups. Here are some pictures.
We had a very fun day at the Museum! I hope you enjoyed my recount of the trip to the museum. What did you do when you visited a museum?
