Reading evidence

In reading this week we read an article from Kiwi kids News about Fortnite. I had talk about why I thought the author wrote this text. This is my follow up task:

Why did the author write this text?
I think that the author wanted to inform us that people especially parents are worried that their children are getting addicted to it like a drug. He said that most of the people say that they love to play Fortnite but didn’t say that they were addicted to it. I think the author’s purpose was to show people how Fortnite can be addicting and how it concerns parents.
