Math W9 T1-Recflection, Translation, Enlargement and Rotation

 This week for math we have been focusing on 4 things Reflection, Rotation, Enlargement and Translation. Reflection is a mirrored image of a object/shape. Rotation is where you rotate a object/shape. Enlargement is where you enlarge or reduce a object/shape. Translation is where you move a object/shape higher or to the side. Our task was to create a kowhaiwhai and use Recflection, Translation, Enlargement and Rotation on it.

Writing W9 T1-Poetry

 This week our task is to write a poem that included events about Ngai tahu and Otautahi. I chose to write about the earthquake that occurred in 2011 and included a few sentences about Ngai tahu.

Writing W8 T2-Purerehua Newspaper article

 This week and last week, our hub is currently organising a hub newspaper. We all are expected to contribute by writing an article for the newspaper that is related to our PBL.  Our art task is to make a purerehua with our own designs. I chose to write about our art that is linked to our PBL.
