This week for reading we are again reading with the fantastics. We are also learning to detect positive and negative intent when we read. This week our task is to fill out a slide based on what we think about the short story paragraphs.

This week for reading we chose between multiple pieces of text and had to record a conversation between our pairs discussing about their opinions on the text. I didn't have a buddy to work with and couldn't find the time to record so I made a slide instead! Hope you enjoy!

This week for writing our goal was "Understand the purposes for writing and how to achieve those purposes Select and explore significant ideas, developing main points with specific detail". We had 4 different topics to write about which were poverty, hunger, health and well being and quality education. We chose between the four and had to find hard hitting stats and come up with rhetorical questions. I chose poverty to write about.
